This page explains which storage technologies we use on ZaellabFX and how you can control them.
1. What are local storage and cookies
Cookies are small files that a website saves in your browser. Local storage (localStorage) serves a similar purpose, but the data is not automatically sent to the server with every request.
2. Necessary storage (always active)
We use it for operation and to remember your choices. It is not shared with third parties or used for advertising. It includes:
ufx_theme: your light or dark theme preference.
ufx_form_*: the last values you entered in each calculator, so you do not have to type them again.
ufx_hero_eurusd: temporary copy of the latest prices for the home chart. ufx_history: your recent calculations. ufx_favs: your favorite instruments. ufx_journal: the trades in your trading journal.
3. Advertising (with your consent where the law requires it)
We load Google AdSense, which may set cookies or use its own and its partners’ identifiers (for example, __gads, __gpi, IDE or FCCDCF/FCNEC, the latter to remember your consent choice) to show ads, cap their frequency, measure results and, where applicable, personalize them.
In regions where the law requires consent (EEA, UK and Switzerland), Google will show you a message with the options Consent, Do not consent and Manage options. If you do not consent, personalized advertising cookies will not be used. You can manage Google ad personalization at adssettings.google.com and see Google’s list of ad technology providers at support.google.com/admanager/answer/9012903.
4. How to manage your choice
You can change your decision at any time with the “Cookie settings” link in the footer, which reopens Google’s consent message.
You can also delete storage and cookies from your browser settings. Note that clearing local storage will also remove your history and trading journal; export your journal first if you want to keep it.
